Eight years of top-flight investigative journalism in the book "The Night of the guards," Patrick Abusleme. Eight years of dedication, sacrifice, effort and travel are rewarded with a solid work on the famous case of Corporal Valdés, that story where some lights are military down the hillside in northern Chile and finish with a small mustache and attitude of good-natured, starring the most famous incident that has given the squalid home ufology. Although there have published dozens of papers and even a book on this same story before, really not worth it until Abusleme, a journalist trained in the Catholic University and currently works for a news agency, took over the case and put seriously. In the work interviewing several former conscripts and agreed to sources never before considered, including medical reports unpublished until now. A turnover Abusleme librazo the reader of this rag would appreciate as a work high quality, something rarely seen in the native scene of UFOs. Without being a skeptical book, La Nave values \u200b\u200band appreciates work like Abusleme, precisely because they provide variety and different perspectives on cases rarely addressed in professional manner. texts in particular are the sort of James Randi, Paul Kurtz, Joe Nickell and more than a dozen reputed personalities of skepticism. Randi and Kurtz do so from the perspective of friends grieved, but also grateful for having been so close to a guy so cultivated, so ready and so full of vitality. He was 95 and was still active. Kurtz points out the curious fact that Gardner was a believer: "I can not prove their existence, but I'm tied to it," Gardner said when asked about the point.
Robert Sheaffer notes that he met the honoree when the author of "UFO Verdict" was a young man just entering the scene of the rebuttal. Kendrick Frazier Dudda not to qualify the writer as "a treasure of humanity." The number also includes the latest of dozens of columns that Gardner wrote for the "Skeptical Inquirer" column that shows the life of a man who was nearing the centennial.
In other texts, Joe Nickell examines the prophecies of Nostradamus, Robert Sheaffer speaks something about UFOs and night vision goggles, Benjamin Radford responds to those who think that the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 were orchestrated by the U.S. government and Samuel Homola, a retired chiropractor, he wondered whether these people should treat children.
As always, the magazine's mother brings skepticism appealing material that is worth having in the library for consultation and daily learning. La Nave advised his colleague and global calls to read.

Irish film director George Clarke hung up on Youtube a delusion, so that fans caught between the unusual as it was the last hope to believe in something absurd. The man, who organizes film festivals and promotes class B in that Youtube video of some of his films, says he was watching a deluxe edition of the film "The Circus" (1928) of Charles Chaplin when he noticed that one of the scenes that do not appear in the film, but that are in the DVD with pictures cut from the final edit, you see a lady talking on the phone.
On what supports your delusional idea? On the basis that given the fact that women have a hand to his ear. That was enough only for youtube burst and as a nasty virus, the idea is disseminated on websites, blogs and the press, always eager for these things. The explanation, by far the most elaborate of all and the most convoluted, lit because some still imagine that time travel is possible. They say the best proof that time travel was not possible ever the future is that no one has come to visit. Neither the wife of Chaplin's video moved us so much these days. Also, if she speaks on a cellphone, with whom he did? Was there more space travelers? How did he do to get a signal if there were no cell antennas in those years distant?
- What do you think the "debate" that led to the discovery of Clarke?
-arguments, mostly jokingly, I find fascinating. Discuss the possibility without actually taking it seriously, considering the pros and cons, is a fun exercise that mixes entertainment with at least some elements of critical thinking. Certainly not all positive. There are those who end up or accept or reject a possibility based on fallacious argument, becoming a joke in a show of ignorance.
- Do you think it is a maneuver of the Clarke to advertise its film festival and zombie movie?
"In a way, yes. Clarke has in his video that "discovered" this a year ago. Why report it recently? Why start a video showing the films you do? I think that he capitalized on it by the time traveler as a viral marketing maneuver. But I think the fact Likewise, the video has been invented.
- What do you think the best argument? Does the instrument or device for the deaf Siemens?
"Both seem plausible, although strictly speaking a common tool for the deaf is more likely that an electrical device that certainly should be more rare in that era. The videos provide insight to decide for details either.
- Why would a subject like this generates so much appeal?
"One of the earliest works of science fiction was" The Time Machine " de H. G. Wells.
A century ago people could not hear it went down the street with devices in the ears. A century later, hearing aids are tiny, but started using cell phones. In the world of fashion is spinning technology.
- Why do you care about these issues, Kentaro? Are they entertaining?
"They are fabulous, you can not say that they are boring. Address seriously absurd possibilities before morning coffee, lunch critically assess before, far from being crazy is a fun exercise of reason.

Today in Mexico celebrate a holiday, the Day of the Dead. Is an important day in our traditions, a celebration of my favorites, but unfortunately, today I can not celebrate as we used before. This is because I have to address labor issues ... and we have taken the day off ... : (This is very bad vibes from the place where I work, because in my opinion is a holiday that should be respected and celebrated.
When I was at school always give us this day off, and often coincided with the days after a weekend, so we could travel to another city where we have buried our dead, to come to you from the afternoon until dawn. At this time only begins to feel the friito, so it was really cool to be living together around the graves of our loved taking us a coffee or hot chocolate. Also in the pantheon always about something to buy on this day, sugar canes, corn cocktail, hot cakes, churros, in short, many things very rich.
Our ritual was going to buy the flowers, the candles and bring cleaning utensils and gardening, to reach the cemetery early in the evening to clean the graves, removing weeds, and make them very pretty with flowers and candles . There'd be living together and praying until they closed their eyes to us.
I miss this experience, but as I say unfortunately this time I could not, for my work, but as I'd like to know that my relatives still live by attending this event and to join next year.

Our good friend Milton Hourcade, author of "UFOs. The secret agenda" and "Elements of Ufology" (book by parts delivered in successive editions of prehistoric "The Ship of Fools"), it was in tune with the technology, unlike us, and start uploading videos with various reflections on the UFO phenomenon. Hourcade, a leading analyst of the issue before us, also manages the blog UAPSG and promises to rise between 12 and 15 videos in the series "Unusual Aerial Phenomena. To put it bluntly." Already I highly recommend.

Mainstream Movie Whippings
Let's start from the beginning. We discussed in the editorial that the Anomaly Foundation, an organization that publishes CDU Ikaros Foundation will be renamed and expanded their horizons to all kinds of scientific oddities, beyond the mere ufology, but without alienating much the look of the Martians, what entertains us the story. The first pages are devoted to a brief history of the subject Ummo in pen of one of the leading specialists on the subject: Juan Jose Montejo.
Sociologist Luis Pablo Francescutti, University Rey Juan Carlos I, performs a "sociology Mars, UFO discourse analysis. Mauge Claude continues its catalog of UFO abductions attributed to France, which was pending at the above number. Chris Aubeck speaks of "Damn medieval and modern aliens" (BTW, is about Aubeck take out a book by Jacques Vallée, beware that). All of that round with a pair of papers relating to cases and book reviews.
But as we said, the focus is on the dossier "Taxonomy" by our friend Luis González Manso. After painstaking work collecting, Gonzalez shows us a huge variety of attempts at classification of aliens who have seen throughout the history of ufology. The big-headed dwarf with brown eyes, the green reticulianos shame and other things like that, think of one. In part. It is also an interesting attempt to understand the development of myth from one of its most attractive, the figure of another, the human extra.
is also paying particular attention to the book "Invasion." It presents a chapter of it along with several comments from various people who read the book and were involved in its genesis. "Invaders" is, as we have said, one of the best books on UFO stories published in our language. And Journal of Ufology is one of the best magazines on the matter. With this new issue only confirms his reputation. Know more about this publication by visiting the website Anomaly Foundation.

That's hard to be pregnant and try to follow my doctor's orders: do not eat flour or sugar. If I love those two! and especially when they contain chocolate! The truth is that if I tried to eat healthier, a lot of vegetable soup, chicken, fruit, but sometimes I win the whim, and enjoy a chocolate or something with peanut butter is best! but hey, all things moderation, here I will share one of the recipes I've made in this period of pregnancy, simply had to do since I saw her.
1 egg 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
