Anticipating the e-learning
Ma yesterday a friend sent a link to this file . Part of a collection of French postcards from 1910 in which it is a prospective chart what the world in 2000. Almost all are great, because are correct in essence (though not in appearance).
This has to do with what we know today as e-learning, and masterfully takes the main elements that have to walk around, namely
- The role of students, passive
- The role of books text, a key vehicle of content and instruction
- The teacher as content provider
- The inability of technology to alter
models - to the "fellow" giving the handle is easy to recognize ...
